The Season of Winter is associated with the Water Element. It is a time of rest in order to gather our reserves from the harvest of Autumn and prepare for the Spring. Water can hold any shape yet cannot be totally grasped. It flows and finds a passage around obstructions. Without it nothing can grow and live. With it, there is change and transformation. Water is stillness within movement. It is both powerful and calm. It is used to cleanse and nourish. Our cells are full of fluid carrying nutrients, blood, and oxygen we need to fuel growth. Will, determination and endurance of the spirit is the expression of this Element within us. |
